Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful vintage solid 18ct yellow gold cocktail ring, featuring an oval-cut amethyst in a traditional four-claw setting. The quality is very good, with the ring hallmarked internally and without engraving. The claws and setting are without loss or damage, with the amethyst having some abrasion to the table from normal wear (most visible under a jeweller's loupe). A classically designed and versatile amethyst ring in high carat gold.
The amethyst measures approximately 14mm x 11mm and has an estimated weight of 6.15cts, with the band being sized a US 8, UK P and EU 56. Unpacked, it weighs in at 4.90gms.
