Here today for your consideration we have this fantastic vintage solid 18ct white gold dress ring, featuring a cushion-rectangle cut natural sapphire with a halo of twelve (12) genuine round-cut diamonds. The quality is very good, with the ring hallmarked internally and without engraving (the band hallmarked 18ct and testing as such; the setting testing closer to 10ct gold). The sapphire has some table wear most visible under a jewellers loupe, with the back of the setting showing some rubbing through the white gold likely from rings worn either side. A classic blue sapphire and diamond ring in high carat white gold.
The sapphire measures 8mm x 6.5mm and has an estimated weight of 1.37cts, with the 2.5mm diamonds having a total estimated weight of 0.78cts. The band is sized a US 6.5, UK M and EU 52, with the ring weighing in at 5.61gms unpacked.
