Here today for your consideration we have this lovely vintage large bar brooch, featuring a central oval deep red garnet cabochon. The brooch is of triple-bar design and very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with the stone having a small internal inclusion visible under strong light (per photos). The pin is held within the safety catch, with the brooch hallmarked to the reverse (overstruck; tested and guaranteed 18ct). A versatile piece for the collection.
The garnet measures 17mm x 10mm and has an estimated weight of 8.95cts, with the brooch having an overall length of 72mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 4.83gms.
