The brooch is of very good quality throughout in both design and execution, with no observable damage to note. The brooch has possibly worn hallmarks to the blade, and has been tested in multiple places and guaranteed as 18ct gold. The dagger sits well within the scabbard and clips securely into place. A very nice piece for the collection.
