Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful solid 9ct yellow brooch, featuring an oval opal doublet cabochon within a textured gold bow and ribbon setting. The quality is very good, with the opal having very nice colour throughout. The pin is securely held within the safety clasp, with the piece hallmarked to the reverse. A nicely proportioned solid gold brooch with an eye catching Australian opal doublet feature.
The opal measures 8mm x 5.5mm with the brooch measuring 40mm long overall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 3.69gms.
